Submission Deadline: February 28th 2023

Abstracts shall be submitted through the online form within the Home page on the following website: www.acn2023.org.

Counter any difficulties during the submission process or for further information regarding  abstract submission via website, please contact the Program Office by abstractsub@acn2023.org.

IMPORTANT: Once you have sent your abstract via website, check that you have received a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive any confirmation, please send an e-mail to：xieyan@medmeeting.org.

 Thematic Area(Topics)

1. Nutrition & Sustainable Development, include food agriculture and environment, sustainable food &

    nutrition action, food security and food safety, future nutrition & technology et al.

2. Public Nutrition & Health, include nutrition strategy, policy, regulation and standards, nutritional  epidemiology, 

    community nutrition, nutrition and health management et al.

3. Basic Nutrition& Research, include the requirement, metabolic, functional research of energy, macro and micro

    nutrients, DRIs, nutrition & immunology, nutrition and intestinal micro-ecology, nutritional assessment and

    technology,nutrients and sensing et al.

4. Food & Nutrition，include food composition & analysis and technology, healthy diet pattern, phytochemicals,

    food culture and behaviors, nutrition and food big data et al.

5. Nutrition Across Lifespan, include pregnancy and breastfeeding nutrition, early life nutrition, nutrition for toddler

    and adolescence, nutrition and healthy aging, sports nutrition, vegetarian nutrition.  

6. Nutrition Education, include registered dietitian, nutrition career development, nutrition popularization, food&

    nutrition education and communication.

7. Clinical Nutrition, include nutrition and diabetes, nutrition and obesity, nutritional oncology, food for special

    medical purposes, nutritional assessment and treatment of inpatients, enteral and parenteral nutrition et al.

8. Precision Nutrition, include nutrition and metabonomics, nutrigenomics, nutrition and translational medicine et al.

9. Other Directions or Topics.

 General criteria

1. The abstract must be written in English.

2. The number of authors is limited to 10 per abstract, including the main author or presenter. At least one author must be registered at the Conference.

3. The author/s will be necessary to attach/upload the doc, docx, pdf copy of your abstract.

4. The author/s shall indicate the presentation format (oral or poster) of the submitted abstract. A person could be

    presenting author for a maximum of one abstract. However, the Scientific Committee will decide over the final

    format.

5. Authors are not permitted to submit an abstract that has previously been published. If additional data or research is

    added to a previously published work the abstract could be accepted.

6. Authors must complete the disclosure section in the Abstract Submission Form. Equations, references and

    non-usual acronyms must be avoided in the Abstract.

7. By submitting the abstract, the author also grants the 14th Asia Congress of Nutrition the right to publish abstracts

    in hard or electronic forms.

8. No abstract alteration can be made after the February, 28th 2023 at 11:59 pm, Beijing timeline.

9. Abstract acceptance or rejection will be notified by e-mail as from April 1st, 2023. presentation criteria and other

    details will also be sent in that notification.

10.The abstract will be submitted under the complete acceptance of all these criteria. The Scientific Committee

    reserves the right to reject any abstract, if it is not adapted to any of these criteria.

 Abstract content

1. The submitted abstract shall contain the following information:

    a) AUTHORS: Full names and surnames of all authors (do not include professional titles), as well as other data requested during the submission process. Affiliation (Institution only）must be included correctly, respecting the following format: Department. Institution. City. Country. (Please separate by dots, not by comas). Example: Department of Nutrition and Food Studies. New York University Steinhardt. New York. USA.

    b) TITLE: concise, 30 words maximum in sentence case (not in capital or lower-case letters only). Please use only recognizable abbreviations.

    c) CONTENTS:The following aspects must be included:

    i. Background and objectives

    ii. Methods

    iii. Results

    iv. Conclusions

    v. Keywords: 5 keywords maximum in alphabetic order, separate with commas

    vi. Conflict of Interest Disclosure (if any)

    vii. Further Collaborators (if any, including further co-authors if they exceed the permitted number)

d) Affiliation: Institution only (Do not abbreviate), in sentence case (not in capital or lower-case only)

2. Text length in the abstract body shall not exceed 300 words. The word limit relates only to the text of the abstract

    and does not include title, authors and institutions

3. Review carefully before submission.
